Spring Things

We've had great weather this past week and took full advantage of it on Friday.

Ice off the Lake Day

Our March Florida strategy is working perfectly this year...winter when we left and spring when we return.  The weather has been wonderful and the lake was already beginning to thaw when we arrived home.  We are proclaiming today, April 15, Ice off the Lake Day.  Last year we didn't make the proclamation until May 8.  The first two shots were taken right after we arrived home, the rest from today.   Macy heard loons yesterday as well!

Easter

On Saturday we colored the eggs

The Easter Bunny hid all the eggs outside and the weatherman cooperated.

The Bunny also hid a new wheelbarrow with an Easter basket and candy.  Lucas didn't waste anytime getting to work.

Lucas had plenty of help

...and lamb roast for dinner.

Playtime and Bedtime

Renee and Scott have created this great play space for Lucas in the basement.  We spent the weekend "working on the railroad".
