Yoiks - Summer Cut

Macy told the groomer to do a summer cut and Baily got it.  We had scheduled it for 3 weeks ago so he was definitely shaggy...but...I wasn't quite ready for this.  It will be much better for the summer, and we have to be watching for ticks, but when they walked in the door my mouth dropped.

We lost our Muppet for the summer, but we have regained our pup, who has been a very sick dog.  As Macy said, hair is only skin deep..."say what".

I know... poor puppy.  But he's the same old skamp, which we love.  Tough 3 weeks.

Da Bear

Love reading articles about defending bird feeders from squirrels and coons...but we have bigger fish to fry.  Very fuzzy, spur of the moment, but here's what greeted Macy and Baily when they went out the door for a walk.

Mall Visit

Friday we took a quick trip to the Mall and visited the Museum of Natural History.  Beckett loves dinosaurs and this is the "go to" place to see them with the best collection in the world.




We parked in Scott's parking spot by his office and took the Metro to the Mall.

Dawgs

Baily, Cooper, and Caya kept us busy our entire visit.  After some initial "bumps" in getting to know one another they got along fine.  They are all good with kids and soon became just another part of the fun.  Here's some pics with the dogs involved.

Beckett, Cooper, and the Blue Angel.  Beckett got a Blue Angel plane at the Dulles Air and Space Museum and it became a constant companion.

When Baily wanted to play with Cooper and Caya he would start barking.  He barked alot.




It didn't take long for the chaos to begin.



Back from Virginia

We're back from our two week road trip to visit Lucas, Renee, and Scott.  Had a wonderful time, and over the next few days will post some pics.  We got to spend 10 days with Lucas, including 4 days of baby/dog sitting while Mom and Dad were working.  Delaney, Beckett, Heather and Frank joined us on Thursday of last week as well, so it was great family time.  It was tough to leave.
