Invisible Fence

On Saturday we had an invisible fence installed around most of the property.  It was quite a project and involved a trencher, chain saw, kayak, and lots of wire.  It was very tough work for the installers. Baily is now in training and is doing well.  Soon he'll have free reign to roam around in the outdoors he so very much loves, and we won't have to worry about where he's off to in pursuit of squirrels and other critters.

This specialized machine cuts through obstacles, digs a trench, buries the wire, and covers it.  It even cuts through rock.

The wire was placed across the lagoon so that Baily can cross the bridge without a collar warning.  The wire must be placed in a continuous loop, it starts and ends in the far garage.

It goes out and around the pier and lift.  He shouldn't get a warning when we head out on the boat.

  1. To reference the last post, clearly Baily is king. This is insane.
