It was a lot of work but by noon on Friday the work was done. Almost everything was sold and we're ready for the next phase. Here's a few photos from the second half of the week.
Here's the garage on Wednesday. It was full by Friday, although a lot of space is being taken up by things headed for Goodwill or still available for sale (anyone need a sofa or a stove?)
We stacked the pavers and deck pieces near the septic field. Again this was Wednesday when we were about half done.
Here's a shot from Friday just before we left.
Couldn't have done it without all the help and hard labor Doug provided. The week was fun but lots of work. It's impossible to put into words the friendship and bonds that Karyl, Doug, Macy and I share. Doug and I first met in 1966 so we're at 45 years. Karyl joined the mix in 1970 and Macy in 1973.
Thanks, Doug!
Sure sorry I missed out on all of the cold weather and hard work! Looking forward to tracking the progress, Jack!

Love the photos Jack and I think it's so amazing that you and Dad have been friends for 45 years!
ReplyDeleteJack - Not sure how to respond without being "anonymous"! Really enjoying the blog and we love the Gatpr shots . . . and the fireplace shots . . . and the demo shots. So weird! You don't realize how unsubstantial our dwellings really are!
