Last Boat Ride of the Season

Always hate to take the boat in for the year but we had a beautiful mid-70's October Sunday for our last ride.  Baily is now adjusting to the new boat-less routine, he liked it when 5 PM rolled around just like me.

Catch Up - Weekend with Laney and Beckett

Heather and Frank went to a wedding in Chicago while Macy and I babysat with the kids.  Fall fun on a beautiful end of September weekend.

The training wheels are off and Beckett is ready to rumble!

Saturday we were off to the pumpkin farm.

Catch Up - Visit to Virginia

The week before Labor Day we were off to Virginia to babysit with Lucas while his daycare was closed.  Labor Day weekend Renee and Scott rented a house on the Potomac near Harper's Ferry.  Great trip, great weather, great times!

When we arrived Scott was transferring a new batch of brew to the fermenting jar.

Scott feels their electric range does not provide enough heat for effective stir frying, so he cooked this meal over hot coals in the fire pit.

Unbelievably good!

Catch Up - July/August

More catch up to get the Blog back to current.

Mom was up from the family reunion until the end of July.  She and Baily were constant companions, especially at meal time.

Jane came up at the end of July for a visit.  We're making ice cream in this shot.  Looks like we're taping an episode of "Mister Food".

Heather and family came up in early August along with one of her college roommate and her family.
