Halloween Parade

The YMCA daycare that Lucas attends had their annual Halloween parade and we got in just in time to attend.

The kids marched in by age...oldest first.

It was a well attended event

The older kids were really into it.

Of course Lucas was the star of the show

Lucas wanted to be a dinosaur, monster, and apple.

The smallest kids paraded in strollers

Afterwards there were parties in all the class rooms

So I walked up to this woman and asked if I could take a picture of the two bumps on her chest.  They were just several weeks old.

Fall Pedal

Beautiful day today and the only boat handy was the pedal boat...worked out fine.

Piers out, so dry boarding was a challenge

We followed the shore of the north end of the lake

Another day of dead calm

We were being watched (top of trees)

A pair of loons checked us out as well.  Fall plumage...very grey.

Probably our least favorite chores each year...

Baily does not like change...he's in for a big surprise.

The lake is dead calm today.  Doesn't happen very often, especially on a cloudy day.

Staying Positive

- No more mosquitoes
- No need to cut the grass
- Peppers were done anyway
- Tree color really pops with the white contrast
- Baily loves the snow
